Create Automatic Certificate with Autocrat Google Sheets

Hello everyone, in this article I will share a tutorial on how to create an automatic certificate using Google Sheets with Autocrat Add Ons.
First, prepare a certificate design that will be distributed to trainees.
You can design a certificate using canva.com. There are several certificate designs that can be customized.
Search for a certificate design on canva.com
Choose the certificate design you want.
Select certificate design
Remove certificate recipient
Delete certificate recipient name
Delete certificate recipient name
Customize the type of activity and the name of the committee.

Download the certificate in .png or .jpg format.
Download certificate
Second, place the certificate design that you have downloaded on Google Slides.
Put the certificate design in Google Slides.
Insert a certificate design in Google Slides
Set the slide size to match the certificate size. On the File menu > Page Setup.
Adjust the slide size to match the size of the certificate
Enter the text “<<Name>>” in the certificate recipient's name area.

You can also enter the committee's signature in Google Slides, with Insert > Image
Third, install Autocrat on Google Sheets Add Ons.
Install Autocrat in Google Sheets via the Extensions menu > Add Ons > Get Add Ons.

Open Autocrat in Extensions > Autocrat > Open

If you get a notification “drive.google.com refuse to connect” it means you have 2 or more google accounts open. Please sign out of all accounts and log in to only one account that will be used.
If you have successfully entered, please click New Job.
Write Job Name, eg “Training Certificate”

Choose a certificate template, namely Google Slides which already contains a certificate template that you have designed. Then click Save.

Write File Name and select Output as .pdf.

Select sheet to be used as data and select column as recipient name.

Select the folder where the certificate will be stored.

Then press “Next”, “Next” until the option to share the document appears. In the email recipient, write the column heading of the email recipient, in this example it is written "<<Email>>". Then write the email title.
If you want to use a trigger to run this program, then select "yes" for the "Run on form trigger" question.
Then run the program, through the "Play" button

Link to the certificate storage location and email delivery status will appear.
