Create a Question on Google Form

Assalamualaikum


In this article I will share a tutorial on how to customize questions in Google Form. Google Form is one of the media that can be used to collect internet-based data, surveys, attendance/presence data.

The Top of the Google Form


At the top there are 3 menus, namely " Questions”, “Responses”, and “Settings”


  • The “Questions” menu contains a list of questions and answers that will be submitted to the Responder.

  • The "Responses" menu contains data from the results of the response from the Responder.

  • The “Settings” menu contains a menu of settings for the type and appearance of the questions that will be presented to the Responder.

In this menu you can add questions and set the type of answer you want. On the top line you can change the title of the form and fill in the description of the form.

On the right side, there are toolbars for:

  1. Adding a question

  2. Importing a form

  3. Adding a Title and Description

  4. Adding an image

  5. Adding a video

  6. Adding section or section boundary.

. Questions are written on the top left of each line, precisely where it says “Untitled Question”.


Where to write questions


On the right side of the question, there are options for the type of answer you want, including Short Answer, Paragraph, Multiple Choices, Checkboxes, Dropdown, File Upload, Linear Scale, Multiple Choice Grid, Checkboxes Grid, Date and Time.

Then at the bottom of each line there are options for Duplicate, Delete and Checklist Required in the form of an option whether the question must be answered by the Responder or not.


If you want to make the google form into a question that has a value in each question, then you need to go to the Settings menu and do the “Make this a quiz” checklist and give a value to the question when the answer is correct.
